2 years without a major incident • Global mobility • Significant investment savings
Situation
The company’s long-standing IT provider had disappeared, leaving behind missing licenses, limited documentation and recurring technical issues.
Each new incident increased the risk of business disruption, with no one able to take control of the environment and restore stability.
Intervention
I rebuilt a clear understanding of the existing environment in order to regain control of licenses, workstations, servers and critical access points.
Once the infrastructure was stabilized and properly documented, I progressively modernized it to provide the mobility required by field teams, without forcing the company into a costly hardware replacement program.
And suddenly, everything becomes possible.
Result
- No major incident causing employee downtime for more than two years.
- Several thousand euros in IT investments postponed or avoided, with some workstations remaining productive for up to 10 years.
- Worldwide mobility for employees working on construction and project sites.
- A more stable infrastructure and better control over IT costs.
